Nick Oakley (H82)
Born in Guildford in 1964, he has always had a passion for fresh air, the natural world and wildlife. Growing up, he spent most of his time outside, enjoying the local countryside on foot or by bicycle.
Nick’s interest in photography was kindled when, as a teenager, he was introduced to it by his brother. Being drawn to vibrant colours, strong contrasts, intricate shapes and natural subjects in the wild, the world of photography opened up a means by which to record the details that spoke most to him in his travels.
